Planning multi-part deliveries and call-offs

Large undertakings are delivered in parts: segments, girders, modules. Some must arrive together, others on call-off. A parts list and call-off plan allow permits, vehicles and crane time to be bundled.

What matters

Parts list
Every piece with dimensions, weight and designation – the basis for permits and vehicle planning.
Call-offs
Pieces are called off as construction progresses; mind the lead time per call-off.
Bundling
Pieces of similar dimensions can often be permitted and loaded together.
Interim storage
If the site is not ready yet, a storage area is needed – clarify who provides it.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. How many pieces, with what dimensions and weights?
  2. Which pieces arrive together, which on call-off?
  3. With what lead time are call-offs notified?
  4. Is there a storage area?
  5. Who releases the call-offs?

What we need from you

  • Parts list (in conversation)
  • Call-off plan
  • Route
  • Period

Preparation: You hand over the cargo ready for loading with known lifting points – dismantling, assembly and foundation work are handled by your team or your installation partner.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Feasibility check per project with questions on missing values
  • Coordination of permits, escort vehicles, route surveys and lifting equipment via partners
  • Quote with the agreed scope once the transport can be planned

Good to know

If permits for all pieces are in place, call-offs can also be carried out at short notice.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You state the cargo, dimensions and weight per piece with units, rough route and time window – marking anything unknown.

  2. 02

    Review

We check the parts list and call-off plan and bundle permits and vehicles where possible.

  3. 03

    Quote

After the feasibility check you receive a quote with the agreed scope, including partner services.

  4. 04

    Execution

Deliveries per call-off with the agreed lead time.

Questions and answers: Multi-part deliveries and call-offs

Can large pieces be delivered on call-off?

Yes, if permits are in place and the lead time per call-off fits. The call-off plan is agreed in advance.

Can several pieces be transported under one permit?

In part. Whether pieces can be bundled depends on dimensions, weight and authority.

Who provides an interim storage area?

We clarify that per project. Often the client or the site provides it.

Can the load be divided? (optional)
Known loading conditions (optional)

What should we coordinate via our partners? (optional)

Whether and to what extent anything is needed is checked per project.

You can send technical drawings after our first reply. Unknown values lead to questions – not to an estimated price commitment.
