Planning

Drawings and data sheets for heavy transport

A good transport drawing answers many questions at once: dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, support and lifting points. It is the basis for permit, vehicle choice and lift plan. Send it after our first reply – not through the form.

What matters

Envelope dimensions
Greatest length, width, height in transport condition.
Weight and centre of gravity
With the position of the centre of gravity in three axes.
Support and lifting points
Where the goods may rest and where they may be slung.
Transport condition
What is removed, what travels along, which locks are fitted.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Is there a transport or installation drawing?
  2. Are centre of gravity and lifting points shown?
  3. Does it show the transport condition?
  4. Is there a data sheet with weight?
  5. Are there manufacturer transport requirements?

What we need from you

  • Drawing (after our reply)
  • Data sheet
  • Manufacturer requirements
  • Design contact

Preparation: You hand over the cargo ready for loading with known lifting points – dismantling, assembly and foundation work are handled by your team or your installation partner.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Feasibility check per project with questions on missing values
  • Coordination of permits, escort vehicles, route surveys and lifting equipment via partners
  • Quote with the agreed scope once the transport can be planned

Good to know

Send drawings and data sheets after our first reply – so we receive exactly the documents we need.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You state the cargo, dimensions and weight per piece with units, rough route and time window – marking anything unknown.

  2. 02

    Review

We check the documents and ask if details are missing.

  3. 03

    Quote

After the feasibility check you receive a quote with the agreed scope, including partner services.

  4. 04

    Execution

The documents go to partners for permit, vehicle and lift plan.
