Lifting equipment and cranes via partners

A heavy item must get onto the vehicle and off again at destination. If no suitable crane is available on site, we organise lifting equipment via partners – mobile crane, gantry or other methods, depending on goods and space.

What matters

Weight and centre of gravity
Determine crane size and slings.
Lifting points
The goods need suitable lifting points; they are shown in the drawing or data sheet.
Set-up area and ground
The crane needs space and firm ground for outriggers.
Lift planning
For heavy lifts the crane partner plans the lift in advance.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Is lifting available at the loading or unloading point?
  2. How heavy are the goods, and where is the centre of gravity?
  3. Are there lifting points?
  4. How much space is there for a crane?
  5. What is the ground like?

What we need from you

  • Weight and centre of gravity
  • Lifting points
  • Space and ground (in conversation)
  • Date

Preparation: You hand over the cargo ready for loading with known lifting points – dismantling, assembly and foundation work are handled by your team or your installation partner.

What we do for you

What we organise

  • Feasibility check per project with questions on missing values
  • Coordination of permits, escort vehicles, route surveys and lifting equipment via partners
  • Quote with the agreed scope once the transport can be planned

Good to know

Share weight, centre of gravity and lifting points – then we plan crane and lift accordingly. Assembly and alignment are handled by your installation team.

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

You state the cargo, dimensions and weight per piece with units, rough route and time window – marking anything unknown.

  2. 02

    Review

We clarify with crane partners which lifting equipment fits and coordinate date and set-up area.

  3. 03

    Quote

After the feasibility check you receive a quote with the agreed scope, including partner services.

  4. 04

    Execution

Lift by the partner on the agreed date, coordinated with the transport.

Questions and answers: Lifting equipment and cranes via partners

Does Logisticoo organise a crane for loading and unloading?

Yes, via partners – if no suitable lifting is available on site.

What details does the crane partner need?

Weight, centre of gravity, lifting points, space for the crane and the condition of the ground.

How does setting down at destination work?

We set the goods down at the agreed point. Your team or assembly partner then handles assembly and alignment – we agree the date together.
